A SCARCE 120-BORE PERCUSSION FIVE-SHOT HAND-TURNED PEPPERBOX REVOLVER, no visible serial number,
circa 1835, with 2 1/2in. barrel group, each barrel originally turning off individually (now frozen) and numbered, starred muzzles, drum breech, full nipple-guard with rolled edge, scroll engraved squared boxlock action with radiused corners, the left side signed within a banner 'MOORE', the right 'LONDON', central dolphin-headed hammer with sliding safe behind, guarded trigger and finely chequered bag-shaped walnut butt
